Wow.

So last night I went to hear Joe Buissink, celebrity wedding photographer, speak about his work and his style and just his philosophy. He has a love and passion for the art that shines through to his images. All I can say is Wow.

What I am seeing after meeting all of these amazing photographers, is that they are amazing people foremost. They have hearts for eyes. Truly. None of them talk about settings or post processing or all the technical jargon that all of us newbies are trying to figure out and get the "tips" and "secrets". There really aren't any secrets. The difference is us. You. Me. And no matter how much we learn, WE could never see what HE sees. Or feel what he feels. His moments are different than the moments you and I see. We have to learn to see on our own. And what you see is totally different than another person, and that right there is what sets us apart. He said something last night that had me nodding my head. Actually he said a lot of things that had me doing that. A lot of young photographer's today try to photoshop that image to perfection. Tweeking and tweeking. Or pulling 3 photographs together to make one. He said there is no perfect image. But there are perfect moments. Wow. I like this guy.

To be honest I had heard his name before but never have seen his work. Well, I did, and you have too if you read the celebrity magazines. I even contemplated going to see him speak because it was far. But I am so glad I did. His images are stunning but his mind and his heart are what hooked me. He encouraged us to "see". To open our eyes to moments. To try to see something different. To shoot with our eyes closed and just "see" with our other senses. To shoot and make sure we leave a little of ourselves in our photos. Once on FB a friend commented to me that she could see my personality in all of my photos. At the time I didn't think anything really of it. Now after hearing him speak that was probably one of the best compliments I have ever recieved. And it is affirming that I am on the right track.

He spoke about the charities such as Autism Awareness that he contributes to. What we do as photographers is so great. We have been given talents that can be shared and need to be. He encouraged us to get involved and get rejuvenated and give. Wow. I love this guy. His images were just breathtaking. His wedding clients the likes of Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilara, Jenny Garth, Tiffany-Amber Thiessen, Brendan Fraser, Catherine Zeta Jones and Micheal Douglas, and Jennifer Lopez and many others. At first I had to think about which wedding was this when he showed JLO's. I figured it out though because I recognized her dress. It was the one to the dancer!

Then he talked about his most memorable wedding and it wasn't one of their fabulous weddings. It was one he shot for Make a Wish foundation for a young 8 year old girl with cancer. Her wish was to get married. So they had a wedding for this little girl. The lucky guy was her father. He said there were 150 people there. And it was perfect. And he shot her dancing with her father. And then all three, parents and her. And shortly thereafter she passed away. And I just sat there and tears just rolled down my face. Ugh. I hate when that happens..........because it messes up my eyelashes.

Here is a sneak peek of what's next..............

I HEART my clients!!

The thing I love most about doing hair and photography are the relationships I build with each and every one of my clients. As a hairstylist my clients become great great friends! We talk about everything when they come in. They can tell me their life stories and I tell them mine. We listen, we inspire each other, laugh together, even cry sometimes! I have clients of all ages. Ones who are younger, not married, or new moms who I can give tips or advice. Older clients who have grown children or married for 20 years who have helped me through tough times. Sometimes we just listen to each other. And I am the lucky one because I get that with each and everyone of my clients. I get to hear so many life experiences. And it is really cool.

As a photographer I don't necesarily get that intimate one-on-one time, however for those few hours they let me into their homes, their families. They allow me to be a part of the most important days of their lives. They welcome me as if I were family. I get to observe so much in that time. And my style of shooting I actually try not to talk too much to them when I am shooting, unless you are doing something funky with your face or eyebrows! I have been able to witness so many different kinds of relationships and love. All different and unique in their own way. All that work for the particular family or couple. And I am truly lucky to be able to capture them, the way they are. Real families. Real people. Real love.

Anyway I don't know where I am really going with this except that I HEART my clients! Here is a little gift that my client from last weekend's shoot gave me. Isn't it pretty! They were a super cute couple! Their session will be coming up next.......

Confessions of a Work-aholic

So I am starting to see signs of a work-aholic and I don't like it. Not. One. Bit. But right now I don't have a choice as I am the only one providing for us right now. I am doing things I once got upset with my husband for doing. I stay up late (I am talking 3am!), I am constantly on the computer or phone. When I am not home working, I am working at the salon. My mind is always turning, my body always pacing. My husband gives me grief for leaving without saying good-bye because I am not thinking about saying good-bye, I am thinking about where I have go and what I have to do next. And I feel like I am always busy. Busy doing nothing sometimes. I need to get a system down. I schedule. I can do it. Starting off with bedtime. I am going to go. Right now. Because my baby is starting up school again in the morning, yay! At a big girl school. She is very excited. And I want to see her off. Here is a picture she drew the other day. I have posted her art before. Maybe I am biased because I am her mom, but I think she is pretty darn remarkable for being only four years old. Although I love my jobs, and incredibly fortunate to have a husband who is amazing with our kids and two striving businesses........ I miss my "mom" job.

Bookworm

My husband takes my daughter to the library a few times a week when my son naps so I have at least a good 2 to 3 hours to myself. My daughter always comes home and shows me all the books she gets and movies. This morning when he was at the gym I was picking up our room and saw this on the floor by our bed. Dude, how many books can you read at a time?! ? He is always reading but I never really paid attention to how much! Granted most are baseball or fiction books. Don't let the tattoos fool you, he is a bonafide N-E-R-D! And I heart him. Big muscles, big brain, but especially his big heart =)

I wear my sunglasses at night......

Here are some more shots I took a few weekends ago while on a road trip with the hubs. It wasn't a romantic getaway to a tropical island or anything, but probably a trip I will always remember. We drove through Seattle to Phoenix to transport a vehicle for someone. I was on the trucker diet. Not a fan of the trucker diet. The coffee was good but I ate enough convience store food. One can only have so much trailmix, jerky, and cracker jack! We ate at random restaurants and unfortunately I didn't get to experience any Waffle houses which I was hoping to do. I love greasy breakfast, especially in a random city!

My husband is the best at finding his way. People never believe him when he tells them he doesn't use a GPS. He is old skool and reads a map. And I am always confident (well, almost always) that he will get us to where we need to go. He thinks some technology instead of advancing people, are making people lazier and dumber. He has driven to so many places by using a map, he now remembers how to get to there by heart and memory. If he relied on a GPS he would just listen and never really pay attention to where he was going. It's kind of like your cell phone. Do you know any of your friends' phone numbers by heart??? I am so guilty of this............I think I am getting dumber.......

We drove a little over 1500 miles.......stayed in small hotels off the highway..... and talked for hours and hours about so many wonderful things. We got up at like 4am every morning to catch the worm! We didn't get to see much, which was fine with me, just what we saw while passing through. I took this picture somewhere in Oregan I think. It is rare to see mountains like that with snow on it and trees like that in Phoenix unless you go up north, which I rarely do. So I took a picture. I took it through the windshield, hence the dirty spots and the bug splats! I didn't want to remove them when I edited it cause I wanted to remember I was in the car when I took it! The drive was Amazing!! So beautiful. And NOT a hundred degrees outside. And it was so weird I had my sunglasses on until like 8pm. It didn't get dark until like 9:30!!

My Husband is a huge basefall fan. One of these days he wants to travel the country and go to a game at each of the major fields. So when we were in Seattle and Portland he made me snap pictures of Safeco and Qwest fields. They aren't great cause I was in the car but he was happy! One of these days he will be able to take his trip and get better pictures!

The view driving into downtown Seattle, reminded me of San Fransico cause of the hills................

Reading his directions and map! He thinks he looks mad in this picture! I think he was just concentrating. But seriously look at his arm?? Looks funny, like Popeye!

It was such a fun trip and we decided we are going to start saving for a motorhome once we have some money!! Ha! Boy do I sound old! We loved driving together and thought how much fun it would be to take the kids..........or better yet our grandchildren one day!

Roller Derby!

So yesterday the family got together and celebrated my niece's 7th birthday at the local roller skating rink. It was so much fun and a workout! I could totally feel myself tightening my whole body just so I wouldn't fall. It reminded me of cheer practice and when I would be high up in the sky standing like a flamingo perched on someone's scrawny teenage arms. They would scream up at me from the ground to squeeze every muscle in my body, pretend you have a quarter between your cheeks and you can't drop it! Really people?? How about I just let it rain money?? HeHe!

Anyway my skating ability came back quickly and I was rollin' around that rink pretty smooth to the beats of Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas. Then this guy shows up. You can call him Mr. Michelle Kwan but on roller skates instead of ice skates. He was crazy awesome! Maybe a little over the top for a Sunday afternoon full of kids but nonetheless, pretty cool to watch!! It was hard for me to take pictures because the lighting in there wasn't the best but here are some of him. He was doin' those crazy ice skating spins.............

He did some fancy dancing footwork. I think he did some double axles too! Jumpin' and spinning in the air! Then he does this thing and looks like a pretzel and gets himself fully parallel with the ground as he takes the rink's turn..........

Then my daughter turns in her game tickets for a prize and chooses this rubber stretchy hand. While she is playing with it and whips it around it goes really long and gets caught in the wheels of a young teen skating by......Oye! Poor kid! He didn't get hurt but I think he was more embarassed cause he fell and I didn't make it any better and kept asking him if he was okay. I think he just wanted to get the heck out of the eating area where everyone was looking at him. But then he couldn't get the rubber thing out of his wheels and so my husband had to help him. My daughter felt really bad and this is what my daughter does when she think she is in trouble or hurts someone.........

But it ended up a great and entertaining family Sunday afternoon!

Serendipity Videography Girls {Gilbert Hair/makeup artist}

T, it's T. Can you make me fabulous?

Over the years I have become Taryn's, owner of Serendipity Videography, personal stylist! The first time I did her hair and makeup for an event was about 3 years ago for a wedding. She was a bridesmaid and I did all of the bridesmaids hair and makeup. I think Taryn used pictures from that wedding on everything that year! I looked HOT! And if any of you know Taryn, you can totally hear her right now........right? She cracks me up! So anytime now when she gets her picture taken she rings me up! And I love it. Taryn is a beauty with or without me and I am just happy that I make her feel as good as she looks.

This time Sergio photographer from Tucson was shooting their whole Serendipity Team with their camera equipment. And I can't wait to see the photos! I got to style her sister this time too. Both are stunning, but negatives of each other! Taryn is super blonde and snowy pale skin, and her sister is dark with olive tan skin! Here are some quick photos I took before they left.......

Recently my sister was in town and I had my first senior session scheduled. So I took my nephew out to do a practice run before the real deal! I had to cut his hair first though, he was a little moppish. So I did the day before. Now I wish I actually styled it for this cause I love the pics. But we just kinda were just messing around and didn't plan I guess. He doesn't smile much....teenagers. But isn't he so handsome! I think he's got a cool look but I am biased because he is family!! Here are a few of his shots..........

Auction for Kate McRae

Most of you may have already heard about this amazing little girl and her family. Her story has been circulating the web for a few weeks now. This little girl was diagnosed recently with a large brain tumor, she is only 5 years old. My daughter's age. I could only imagine. Her father is a pastor at our church. We started attending last year and absolutely love it there. Church is all still very new to me. Then I am able to witness things like this and the love and compassion people have is truly inspiring, uplifting, and really amazing. There has been an outpouring of support, prayer, and donation for this family in need. One of my best friends with a large blog audience is going to be auctioning custom party items this week on her blog and all proceeds will go to this family in the form of gift cards to grocery stores and restaurants since the family has been at the hospital 24/7 for weeks now. So go. Go bid! I will be auctioning a family session as well on her blog this week too. It is the least I can do. I am so blessed to be able to use my skills to help. I am very lucky. So if you or someone you know has been contemplating a portrait session, what a better time. You will bid for the session. The auction will last a few days and the highest bidder will receive the session. All proceeds will then be used to purchase gift cards for the McRae family. I will keep you posted when the auction will be.

You can visit Kate's site for more information and updates on her progress. If you are unable to bid, as it is such a tough economic time right now, please just pray for this little girl and her family and give your family extra hugs and kisses.

Canvases and Cuts!

It is hot here in AZ! 116 degrees hot! So I decided to chop my son's hair. Little boys sweat ALOT! And their hair clumps together. Stinky........My little Keanu Reeves is now no longer. He was pretty sad too about it........

A little business in the front........

Party in the back............

Just kiddin!

Isn't he handsome!

Father like Son.......
Then my daughter decided she wanted to cut her hair like Dora.......she cracks me up! So it was a family haircut day at my studio. I also just got my order of canvases in too so I put those up too and they are AH-mazing. I probably would never spend money on prints like this. Kinda like how people don't realize what good styling products can do for your style. But being now in the industry I decided to and to put some of my work in my salon. Now that I have, I wish I had a huge canvas art print of my babies as newborns!! I HIGHLY recommend canvas prints! They are beautiful timeless pieces of art! Seriously they are gorgeous! The bigger the better too. They are pricey, however if there is a special image or photo that you absolutely LOVE, do it. So worth it! I am now offering these so if you have any questions please email me! Any past clients who would like to order any of your session let me know! Here are some examples. Pardon the messy salon ...........
This print is at 24x36. One of my faves!! I love going in to work and seeing this little face everyday!!!

Feeling like an Arse: The Sequel

So now that I have Google Analytics installed and working. I was thinking about all the things it tracks and stuff. It tells you what sites are referring you and you can go to the site. Sometimes that person will have wrote a post on you or linked you somehow. Then it dawned on me. Back when I first started this whole journey I wrote this post. And he commented! And I thought I was so cool because I got David Jay to comment on my blog! At the time I didn't know how he knew I wrote about him. I was thinking.........Does he read my blog?? Does someone he knows read my blog and told him??? Are the big ballers of the photography world wanting to know what I am up to ??? Hehehe............ Yeah right! Hahaha! Now do I feel stupid! He probably has Google Analytics! So I didn't link him this time. I don't want him coming here and laughing at me! I will assure you the Feeling like an Arse installments might quickly become a monthly post since my Friday Firsts seemed to fizzle.

I have a real doozy of a feeling like an arse when I went here the other weekend. Not quite ready to talk about it............

Wednesday, July 1, 2009

So I finally did it.

I installed Google Analytics. I know I said I didn't want to know. But I do. And I didn't mess up my blog this time. It is tracking info as we speak. The first day I was scared. I was scared to check the numbers. I was scared it would say 1 vistor. 1 vistor in Arizona. That, 1, vistor being ME. But it didn't say 1. So I was relieved :). I either 1) am a decent photographer that people like seeing my pictures 2) I have scary stalkers 3) I am an internet reality hot mess like Speidi or something and people just read for entertainment. Good Lord I hope not!

But it is kinda cool cause it breaks things all down and lets you know who is new and who isn't. Where people are visiting from. How many times. So I am just getting the hang of all this. I am just learning how the "internet" really works. I have heard of SEO but still not sure what it means. I know it is search engine something. I started putting {blah blah photographer} next to my posts because all the other photographers I follow do it, so I did. Yeah didn't know those are key words for those search engines. So I googled my company name and it came up first which is good. I even googled my name and my site came first too. So I guess those {blah blah} is working. Then when I was on that first Google page I scrolled down a little and something caught my eye. There was a site that said CraziesForum. Love. Live. Photography. Did someone start a forum about me and my photography and name it CrazyForum???? Hahaha. The fact that I even thought that should warrant someone starting a forum about me and calling it Crazy Forum. Then I looked at it and it said LOVE. LIVE not LIVE. LOVE. Whew! But it was funny! But I must admit I do have a little nutty in my blood but hopefully not crazy! My sisters' and I all have it. We call it the Le Girl Syndrome, everyone else (ie: husbands) would probably call it just stubborn :).

But don't all artists have a little something missing???? It is so weird being an "artist". You are your own worse critic, nitpicking yourself to death, feeling insecure about your work and talent. But yet then you also have to have that hard skin and inner motivation to keep perfecting your craft and learning more when you feel like you just suck. Some days you are feelin' it and ready to rock it with ideas coming out of your eyeballs and the next you are scrambling for inspiration. That constant battle within yourself is enough to make you crazy don't you think?

Speaking of artists , here is my budding lil one. Her cousin recently just went to Disneyland and she was so excited looking through his pictures and wanted to go too. So I told her to start saving her dollars. This is her Disneyland bucket she
drew and colored it by herself to put her money in.................so I can see at 4 years old she definately has got the artistic gene, lets pray she doesn't get the Le Girl Syndrome!

Happy Birthday!

I am definitely a girl who beats to her own drum. I do what I want, when I want to and I rarely seek approval or permission. I beat my drum loud and proud for anyone to hear.........often not really caring if you will listen but hoping you do. Most think I am just annoying and want me to stop.

The funny thing is this guy is always there. Always behind me...... Listening to my beats....... and dancing up a storm! And that is what makes me smile. That is what keeps me beating. He is my biggest fan. The only one I need. He is my best friend. Thirtysomething years ago my soulmate was born and I am forever grateful. Happy Birthday baby! xoxox

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's day to all the Mr. Moms out there! I wrote about how my mom taught me to be strong woman and mother. What my dad taught me was it is never too late. Never too late to learn from your mistakes. Never too late to do what you want. Never too late to learn. Never too late to live your life the way you want. When I was young my Dad was a successful engineer. However he was always dreaming. Dreaming of music. He would play the guitar all the time for us. He even bought my little sister a mini-guitar for Christmas once so she could play. Dreaming of going to MBA graduate school. Dreaming of being a pilot. He took hours and hours of flight classes. Dreaming of working for Disney. I remember him showing me the rejection letter he saved from Disney years before I was even born, stating that he didn't have just what they were looking for to be a Disneyland Imagineer. As a kid I thought my Dad was soooooo cool cause he almost got a job at Disneyland!!! The fact that my dad saved that letter too. He easily could have tossed it, be upset, and never talk about it again. The fact that he tried to get the dream job at the Happiest Place on Earth. The fact that he saved it to show his daughter. And how proud his daughter was! That right there is what I have learned from my Dad. It isn't about the destination but the journey. Not about things but about experiences. And to this day my Dad continues to inspire me. Painting in his garage, or on the beach having conversations with random or homeless people and learning their stories. Traveling, speaking and learning from all cultures. Photographing and documenting everything he has seen and done. Doing things he loves. Always learning, learning, learning. I recently told you how he turned 60 last month. He just completed a 23 day trip on his motorcycle with my stepmom following the distinct route of the Tour de France the year he was born. He had a private blog I was able to follow and read about his adventures. My Dad has taught me to live life to the fullest. I think one day my husband and I will tackle his trip and try it too! I just have to get over my fear of motorcycles! Thank you Daddy! I love you! Happy Father's day!

Now my husband. I could not ask for a more amazing father for my children. I feel he will teach my kids the things my father taught me. He teaches my daughter so much already. Their connection is so amazing. Things I never would think to explain to her, he can, and she understands. Since losing his job last year he has been home full-time with the kids. People always ask me how I do it. How do I have my salon, photography, and kids? This is how. Love and support at home makes everything much easier. When I am feeling overwhelmed, I know he is taking great care of the kids or keeping the house together and allowing me to focus on my work and do a good job for my clients. My children simply adore him and I love that. My son just recently started calling me Mama instead of Dada! They are very lucky to have a father who loves them as much as he does. The love he has for them I know is what completes his life. Whatever he is meant to be or do, I don't know. But he definitely was meant to be a dad. I love you babe! Happy Father's Day! xoxo

I will end this post with and image of a new father and baby from my recent newborn shoot. And this is where it all begins..............

The movie and "Bob Bob"

So remember that movie I had a second callback for?? It was on Lifetime on Monday night and was actually a super cute movie. I remember when I auditioned for it I thought Lifetime movie?? Aren't those like cheesy afterschool specials?? This movie was really good and funny! I don't watch Scrubs but Sarah Chaulke is adorable. So if it is on again check it out! It's called Maneater. Oh and btw the line and part I auditioned for, the actress said without an accent! Grrr...........

So my son's birthday was last weekend and we just had a small family party. My son is allergic to everything so I made him a rice krispy cake instead. I frosted it myself and thought I botched it. But I showed it to my husband and he said Tina that looks GOOD! I showed my son and he says "Bob Bob!" And I was thrilled! He knew what it was and that's all that mattered! Then I took a picture of it and it did look pretty good! I freehanded it because I don't have a cake tip or icing bag. I frosted it with a chopstick :). Later my friend told me I should have used a sandwich baggie, DUH! Oh well. It came out really cute and I am pretty proud!

Here is my man with his "Bob Bob" cake................seriously is it me, but isn't he the most dreamy little guy?? I want to eat him! I can't stand it! (I am talking about my son, not Spongebob! But Spongebob was really yummy!)

My lil' man is 2!

This weekend my lil' man will be turning two! So bittersweet! I love to see my little babies grow and learn, but he is my second and haven't decided 100% if this will be my last :(. At our house it is the typical momma's boy and daddy's girl. My boy is my baby! I am close with my daughter too but I want her to be independant, confidant, and strong woman! So she doesn't get away with much from me. And the opposite for my husband. My daughter is his princess and he wants his son to buck up and be a man! So my son doesn't get away with much with him. Sigh. The trials of parenting!!

My son is the happiest baby! So giggly and laidback. Except when he's hungry. If his taquitos are hot, watch out because he will chuck the plate at you and demand room temp taquitos!! He is definately all boy and loves any kind of car and baseball. He's simple and low maintenance. It doesn't take much to make him happy. My mother-in-law sent him a Disney Lightning Mcqueen card that plays music when you open it and he ate dinner with it, slept with it, and is dancing with it as we speak! Silly boy. Happy Birthday my sweet son. Mommy loves you.

Here is a slideshow of my lil' man. You will also get to see the progression of my photography. I got my first SLR camera in February 2008 when my son was about 9 months old. He has been my best model! This song is one of my husband's favorite songs. I love it too. The really cool thing is this song was playing in the operating room while I was having my C-section and giving birth to my son. Enjoy!

R Family {phoenix family photographer}

I was so happy when Mom contacted me via facebook to take her family photos now that Baby M was able to sit. Mom and I were on spiritline together when we were 14 in junior high and went to high school together. In junior high our coach wasn't let's say, the nicest lady and wore crazy socks all the time. I remember choreographing a routine and we competed and placed 2nd (out of like 4 but whatever!). I don't remember exactly everything, but she basically said we stunk and should have placed higher and because I made up the routine I was the one who REALLY stinked ......or is it stunked?? I almost quit. And my friend Katy vowed to quit with me. What I do remember was Mom standing up against the coach for us! If they quit we quit too! Well maybe that's not what she said, but she spoke for the squad and had my back. Thanks A! So when I saw her the other weekend for their session it didn't surprise me that she went on to become a lawyer!

She asked me if I always knew I was artsy because she didn't remember that about me in school. I wasn't really artsy, besides dance. I was the academic asian! After graduating from ASU with my B.S. degree I decided to go to hair school instead of medical school. I know, big difference. My salon clients always ask me what did your dad say? He actually was very supportive and co-signed so I could get a loan! But I went not because I really wanted to get all creative or anything. Though I did like hair and fashion. I used to cut my own hair in high school sometimes or perm or straighten my friend's hair. Really because my husband and I had been dating at the time for 4 years and I knew we would get married and I didn't want to leave him and go to school somewhere. I also was burnt out on school. I busted my bottom taking all of those science classes. You need like 120 something credits to graduate and I graduated with 151.....In 4 years.....Crazy.....Can you say No Life :). So I followed my heart and my hubby and now a hair stylist/photographer!!

Anyway, Mom that's how I kinda got here since you were wondering! It was so nice to meet up with her again and see what she has been up to the last 10+ years. I love reading her FB updates, she is very witty! I always remembered her as being pretty funny. Married now with a beautiful lil' girl. Mom was hoping for a redhead like her but I have to say Baby M looks just like her daddy! I love her beautiful pale skin and big doe eyes. Adorable! That paired with InkyBinky tutu and you have yourself an Angel!

See heaven sent.......

One of my faves. Love her expression.

The Sweetest Gift

Literally. A fellow photographer who I met last month at a GTG gave me the sweetest, juiciest, most fantastic little peaches off her tree!! I love LOVE peaches and have been waiting for Costco to get some in. I read this other blog sometimes and I think she has a peach obsession too and last year she would post the most delioucous sounding recipes. And yesterday at the salon I was talking to one of my clients and she told me about this that I want to totally try out. One thing my husband and I have been talking about for like a year is growing a garden. We just haven't got around to doing it. But I love fresh fruits and veggies. Another photographer friend talks about his homegrown potatoes all the time on his facebook updates and they sound soooo yummy!

So anyway the other day I was on her blog and she had taken a picture of the moon and the peaches. I left her a comment totally joking, saying something like Yum! Is that your tree? You should bring me some! So last night I see her again, and from across the room I wave. I did notice she is carrying a brown little sack. She stopped and was talking to some other people. When I finally make my way to her I said again totally joking Are those my peaches? I never even thought it really was her tree because it looked like a wild field not a yard in the picture. Nor did I truly think there were really peaches in her bag, let alone for me! And when she said Yes! These are for you I literally squealed and gave her 15 million hugs! Gifts like this are the truly the best EVER!! Ones that are such a simple gesture and totally unexpected. I know I hugged you so much last night, but Thank You so much Brenda!!! You are so sweet I am going to nickname you Peaches! My daughter and I enjoyed them on the patio this morning along with the rain. Here are some pics of a few of the juicy little fellas before they had a party in my belly........................

One thing about homegrown organic stuff is they are TINY!!! But sooooooo flavorful. These guys are in one of those small snack pack baggies.............

See itty bitty! So cute! And so yummy! Who ever said bigger was better???
