She asked me if I always knew I was artsy because she didn't remember that about me in school. I wasn't really artsy, besides dance. I was the academic asian! After graduating from ASU with my B.S. degree I decided to go to hair school instead of medical school. I know, big difference. My salon clients always ask me what did your dad say? He actually was very supportive and co-signed so I could get a loan! But I went not because I really wanted to get all creative or anything. Though I did like hair and fashion. I used to cut my own hair in high school sometimes or perm or straighten my friend's hair. Really because my husband and I had been dating at the time for 4 years and I knew we would get married and I didn't want to leave him and go to school somewhere. I also was burnt out on school. I busted my bottom taking all of those science classes. You need like 120 something credits to graduate and I graduated with 151.....In 4 years.....Crazy.....Can you say No Life :). So I followed my heart and my hubby and now a hair stylist/photographer!!
Anyway, Mom that's how I kinda got here since you were wondering! It was so nice to meet up with her again and see what she has been up to the last 10+ years. I love reading her FB updates, she is very witty! I always remembered her as being pretty funny. Married now with a beautiful lil' girl. Mom was hoping for a redhead like her but I have to say Baby M looks just like her daddy! I love her beautiful pale skin and big doe eyes. Adorable! That paired with InkyBinky tutu and you have yourself an Angel!
See heaven sent.......
One of my faves. Love her expression.
It was so great to see you again A! Maybe I will join you and K for brunch when you guys set it up!
